Toddler friendly recipe – Berry Bark

Toddler friendly recipe – Berry Bark

Welcome back to my blog! This week I’m going to be sharing a new recipe we tried out that even my fussy toddler loves.

I’ve been wracking my brain for things that my daughter will eat and seeing as we had the hot weather a couple of weeks ago I took a risk and it paid off.

Harper loves ice cream but she’s an incredibly messy eater, so I wanted to make something that she could enjoy and I wouldn’t have too much to clean up afterwards.

Here’s my simple recipe to make Berry Bark.

*This recipe uses dairy products but you can easily shake up the ingredients to make it vegan*

Strawberry Yoghurt. (I used 8 Yoplait wildlife yoghurts because they were going to go out of date so roughly 500ml)

2 Handful of frozen berries (You can use fresh)

400g White Chocolate

Food Colouring of choice

one baking tray and baking foil.

You’re going to need a willingness to get messy or use the kids to help out!

Once you’ve poured your measured amount of yoghurt and berries, mix them together and spread evenly onto your baking tray.

Separate your chocolate into 4 bowls and melt (I used the microwave for this part.)

Once the chocolate is melted, mix in your choice of food colouring, I used yellow, green, purple and pink.

Mix fast and start pouring on top on the berry bark. You need to be speedy with this because it will harden again quickly.

Pop it in the freezer for 4 hours and you’re done!

So that was my super quick and very yummy berry bark. What are you favourite recipes?

Let me know in the comments.
